During 2017 our Glass & Glazing team (Kendal) were commissioned to replace a glass clock face on a church in Greater Manchester. The job entailed removing the clock from the church, replacing the glass face and then repositioning the clock higher up the bell tower so it could be seen from the North side of the Church.
The church itself is an Anglican parish church built between 1821 and 1826 which is located in Stand, Whitefield, Greater Manchester. The images, (left and middle), below show where the clock faces were positioned prior to the work and the image, (right), below shows how the clock face has been repositioned higher so it can be seen on the Northern elevation.
Wardgroup’s Glass and Glazing teams in Barrow and Kendal are both able to work confidently and safely at heights and hold all the accreditations, qualifications and health and safety standards to work safely at height when working on glass, glazing or window projects.
