During November Wardgroup received a letter from a group of students at Dane Ghyll Primary School in Barrow-in-Furness requesting support for their award winning Garden Project. As a company that prides itself on being part of the Barrow community since 1872, Wardgroup were happy to support the project with some paint from our Decorating Centre.
Simon Hulbert | Decorating Centre Manager said, “Wardgroup works a lot with local schools, providing Plumbing & Heating, Glass & Glazing and Painting & Decorating services during school holidays and we understand the requirements and financial restrictions a lot of schools are under when it comes to creating extra curricular projects like the Dane Ghyll Garden Project. When we were asked for support we were happy to offer the school some paints from our *mis-match stock.”
Mis-match stock is paint that has been mixed and does not hit our high standards of customer satisfaction, less than 1% of all mixes.
Wardgroup were able to provide the school with a 10L tub of masonry paint and some exterior wood paint, so they can brighten up their garden project for 2017.
